Avery Smallwood was awarded Student of The Month for the month of March at Bowie High School. Avery won student of the month by having perfect attendance, having good grades, and by doing something for our school community. She picked up trash around our school. "I feel extremely honored to be named the Student of The Year'', Freshman Avery Smallwood. Student of The Month is awarded to students who set good examples. The students have to have good grades, perfect attendance, and they have to do something for our school community."
