The Camera

1. Joseph Nicéphore Niépce was credited for making the first permanent picture. He took it of a roof of a shed in the sunlight
2. Loius Daguerre used a silver plated copper sheet to take the first commercial photograph.
3. Ansel Adams is credited for ushering the era of landscape photography
4. You should know what shutter speed, aperture, and ISO is if you want to be a photographer.
5. Matrix metering, Spot metering, and Center-weighted metering are the three metering modes.
6. You should use center-weighted metering when there is a lot of light behind the subject.
7.  It only evaluate the light around the focus point, so you would use it when shooting something small like a bird.
8. The four camera modes are program, shutter priority, aperture priority, and manual.
9. Shutter priority, is when you manually set the shutter speed and the aperture is on auto. Aperture priority is when you set the aperture and the shutter speed sets automatically.
10. Automatic uses a small motor in the lens or camera to auto focus. Manual focus i for when the camera is having issues and you can set the focus.
11.I think auto focus would be better because you don't have to set it all the time and you can use it in in a hurry.
12. To counter blur in dark settings, and create a primary light source in a dim ambient light settings, can set a better mood. At like weddings and ballrooms.
13. Use like a fill type flash outdoors when you subject is poorly light.
14. Using a tripod is a good decision because it makes the camera stable, and can cause less blur in pictures and less shakiness in videos.
15. We shouldn't use auto focus while videoing because the lens can cause noise to be picked up in the video. Even though manual video settings are hard we should take time to learn them.
16. About 50% are close ups, 25% medium, and 25% wide shots
17. A histogram is a tool that evaluates light exposure
18. The graph will be dominant on one side
19 The graph is pretty evenly balanced out, meaning there is light mainly in the middle of the picture.
20. The cameras digital sensor will leave pitch black shadows and white highlights due to the limited range on the sensor.
