Great Black and White Photographers 3

1. This is the first photo I saw from Manuel, and I liked it because I've never seen firefighters look like this. The two men, the subject caught my attention against the simple background.

2. In this photo I see flashing, lights, like fireworks from behind the camera. I see the man dancing and prancing around in the open area. I smell the gun powder, from the fireworks. I smell food from the distant gathering of people behind him. I can hear cheers and yelps from the man and others. I can hear the popping of the firework, and the huffing of the dancer. The loudest is the screams from the crowd and from a near by drum. I can feel the hot Mexican air on my body, and the coolness of the camera on my hand. I can feel the drum pounding inside my chest. The sandy ground being kicked up on my face. Also the man leaning on my side, in the crowd. I can taste fajitas and tacos that were served to me. I can also taste a cold coke washing the meal down. One thing that I didn't like the taste of was my sweat dripping down onto my lips.
3. From behind the camera I can see the man sitting. I see the sunlight beating down on his sun burnt face. I can hear him playing a sad tune on his accordion and him crying out a sad set of lyrics with his raspy voice. I can also hear cars pass behind me and distant conversations. I can feel the sun on my neck,  a breeze blowing against my back, and dog sniffing my feet. I can smell the distant cafes making food and the gasoline of cars behind me. I can taste the sweat on my lips, the ice cold water I am drinking, and the pastry that I ate earlier that morning.

4. I think one of the best ideas to get the word out about my photography would be either sharing the link to my blog our making posters. Another good way would be to make a powerpoint and have a group look over it. Or even airdrop my stuff.
