2019 Recap

Best Pictures

This is one of my favorite pictures of the year because it was a crucial fire that happened in California. The picture is very interesting because of the flying embers and sparks.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the year because immigration was and is one of the biggest controversies in the USA. This picture shows what happens and how it can affect families.  

This is one of my favorite pictures of the year because it shows the problem of violence in the Middle East. This picture is also very cool because you can see the missiles tracking each other. 

Best Song

My favorite song that came out this year was Beautiful Crazy by Luke Combs. This was #46 on the years top 100 songs. I liked this song for several reasons, first off my dad liked it, I liked the melody and lyrics, and Luke is one of my favorite artists.

Best Movie

My favorite movie that came out this year is 21 Bridges. It is a police/crime thriller. I liked this movie a lot because it was very action packed, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. If you are into action movies I would recommend this one because it was really corny like some other action movies.

Most Important News Story

There were many different news stories that are equally important. One important story was Hurricane Dorian, another was President Trump got impeached. Unfortunately there were also many mass shooting covered on the news this year.

Most Important Person

The most important person of the year to me (from the list) would be the Hong Kong Protesters. I think they are some of the most important people because they are standing up to their government so they can gain freedom.

Most Important Sports Event

One of the most important sports events of the year to me was the 2019 Bassmaster Classic. One of my favorite things to do is bass fish, and this is the biggest tournament of the year. This happened on the Tennessee River in March. Native Ott DeFoe won the Classic this year.

My Holidays

1. Over the holidays I went to Lake Travis with my uncle, on his bass boat. We were out there for only a few hours, but ended up catching a ton of fish. 

2. One of my New Years Resolutions is to get more organized and focus more on homework. I am going to clean out my backpack and arrange stuff into different folders.

3. I am most excited for a fresh start, and the chance to make new friends.
